I am a creative writer drawn to stories of caretaking and compassion that inspire reader action and engagement. I believe that creative storytelling across all written communication and digital media is one of our strongest connection points to each other and to the world. I am here to commemorate the places we love, the people we cherish, and the stories that connect us with this great wide world. I hold an MFA in Nature Writing from Western Colorado University, and my work has been published in a variety of online and print publications.

Once upon a weekend, we went hiking for a long time and found blue sky and saw cool rocks and got sore feet.
@slupikminifarm thank you for this lovely bouquet which brightened my mom’s day!
This trail is the very first one I remember hiking as a kiddo. Returned today some twenty-odd years later to hike it again with my mom. Thankful for these constants.
I want to be a human scarecrow and sit in my neighbor’s front yard all day.
And so we keep climbing.
